Gubata

Grown at an altitude of over 2,100 metres in the Guji region of Ethiopia, this coffee comes from the Gubata Farmers Group, in partnership with Sookoo Coffee by Ture Haji. The coffee plants grow in fertile volcanic soils using traditional methods, with very few inputs and a fully hand-picked harvest.

The carefully selected cherries are dried on African drying beds for 2 to 3 weeks to develop their full aromatic richness. This Grade 1, the highest classification in Ethiopia, offers an elegant and expressive cup with notes of blueberry, peach jam, and flowers, complemented by a beautiful sweetness and a refined finish.
