Sueños de Toriles

A warm espresso brought to you from the heights of Comayagua, this batch comes from the isolated region of Toriles, located between 1,600 and 1,700 meters above sea level in the heart of rural Honduras. Roasted specifically for espresso, this washed coffee offers a rich and silky profile, with deep aromas of 55% dark chocolate, melt-in-the-mouth nougat, and ripe dates. For a long time, Toriles producers were excluded from the specialty coffee market due to their geographical isolation and lack of resources. In 2024, thanks to the Sueños de Semilla project, seven small producers have learned to process their coffee themselves, allowing them to achieve a high quality and sell their microlots under their own name. This coffee symbolizes the beginning of their autonomy and fair recognition.
